MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - UAVs, Fusion 360 (Klagenfurt, Austria)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Austria. In this role, you will develop innovative design solutions for mechanical and hardware challenges, contributing to weight-optimised drones, robots, and components integrated into our hardware platforms. You will be responsible for creating technical drawings, 3D digital assets, and customised simulation environments. Working closely with hardware and software developers as well as project managers, you will help ensure our systems meet the highest performance, reliability, and quality standards.
Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience
- CAD design experience using Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks
- Lightweight-optimised hardware design and 3D printing experience
- Strong mechanical, hardware, and robotics system design thinking
- Experience working with robots or UAVs is highly beneficial
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for hardware design
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hardware components and technical drawings
- Create 3D digital assets using SolidWorks and Blender for simulation and marketing purposes
- Test and troubleshoot hardware components on test benches and UAV platforms (CI/CD)
- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve hardware development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in robotics, mechanical, electrical, or hardware engineering
- Strong technical affinity for hardware, 3D modelling, robotics, sensors, and prototyping
- Experience using Blender is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

HARDWARE TECHNICIAN - Electrician / Mechatronics Engineer (Klagenfurt, Austria)

Position Summary:
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Hardware Technician (m/f/d) to join our team at our Klagenfurt facility on a full-time basis (38.5 hours per week), with immediate effect. As part of our technical hardware team, you will play a hands-on role in the assembly, integration, and maintenance of professional drone systems, working closely with engineers and developers to deliver reliable, high-quality platforms.
Candidate Profile / Requirements:
- Education or training in Electrical Engineering, IT, or Mechatronics
- Strong hands-on skills and interest in technical development and innovation
- Practical experience in drone manufacturing, UAV assembly, or model building is beneficial
- Structured, responsible, and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to operate independently
- Collaborative team player with high levels of motivation, reliability, and commitment
Responsibilities:
- Assembly, testing, and repair of various drone systems
- Installation and integration of camera payloads and mounting solutions on drone platforms
- Handling of repair intake, processing, and technical documentation
