Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Austria. In this role, you will develop innovative design solutions for mechanical and hardware challenges, contributing to weight-optimised drones, robots, and components integrated into our hardware platforms. You will be responsible for creating technical drawings, 3D digital assets, and customised simulation environments. Working closely with hardware and software developers as well as project managers, you will help ensure our systems meet the highest performance, reliability, and quality standards.

Candidate Profile:

• 2–4 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience
• CAD design experience using Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks
• Lightweight-optimised hardware design and 3D printing experience
• Strong mechanical, hardware, and robotics system design thinking
• Experience working with robots or UAVs is highly beneficial
• High attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for hardware design

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hardware components and technical drawings
• Create 3D digital assets using SolidWorks and Blender for simulation and marketing purposes
• Test and troubleshoot hardware components on test benches and UAV platforms (CI/CD)
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve hardware development processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in robotics, mechanical, electrical, or hardware engineering
• Strong technical affinity for hardware, 3D modelling, robotics, sensors, and prototyping
• Experience using Blender is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Position Summary: We are seeking a Research Engineer & Project Manager to join our UK team and support the delivery of applied R&D projects across autonomous UAVs, remote operations, AI, communications, simulation and robotics. You will work closely with engineers, academic institutions, industry partners and funding bodies to coordinate project activities, manage technical reporting and deliverables, support research and proposal development, and help translate engineering work into clear project outputs. The role will contribute across UK and European innovation programmes, from early-stage research and consortium development through to testing, demonstrations and project delivery. 

Candidate Profile:

• At least 2 – 4 years’ work experience in project management, research coordination, or delivery of collaborative R&D projects.
• Strong ability to understand, communicate and simplify complex technical concepts and translate them into practical project objectives, deliverables and reporting.
• Good understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements definition, system architecture, interfaces, verification and validation (including FAT and SAT).
• Familiarity with the development lifecycle of complex robotics systems, from concept and research through prototyping, integration, testing, demonstration and commercialisation.
• Experience in systems documentation, bid writing and academic literature.

Position Summary: We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong information technology background and an interest in UAV technology to support the growth of AIRBORNE ROBOTICS. In this role, you will work closely with customers, engineering teams and marketing & business development to identify new leads, understand technical requirements and propose suitable UAV, payload, communications and software solutions. You will support technical sales discussions, product demonstrations, offer proposals, customer integration and lead generation activities, while representing AIRBORNE ROBOTICS at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings. The role combines technical knowledge with commercial awareness to help convert customer requirements into practical UAV solutions. 

Candidate Profile:

• At least 2 – 4  years of experience in technical sales, IT, software, systems engineering or a related technology role.
• Strong interest in UAVs, robotics, autonomous systems and emerging technologies.
• Comfortable discussing technical products with both engineering and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience working in B2B technology, industrial systems or technical solution sales is beneficial. 

Responsibilities:

• Support technical sales across UAV platforms, payloads, software and communication systems. 
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare offers, technical quotations, product presentations, tenders and supporting sales documentation.
