AUTONOMY SOFTWARE ENGINEER - ML / AI (London, UK)
UAV SOFTWARE ENGINEER position in London, UK (primary) or Klagenfurt, Austria (alternatively)

We are looking for a hands-on, self-driven and solutions-oriented individual to join our team as a software engineer to support the group’s drone (UAS) development. We are seeking a pro-active individual with significant experience and relevant technical background in autonomous systems.

Day to day responsibilities include software design, coding and developing applications-specific solutions in support of UAV development and integration. The candidate should share our passion for high-performance drone technology, advanced solutions and should have inherent knowledge of the UAV industry as a whole. 

Candidate Profile:

  • Two Years experience in one or more of: C, C++, Rust.
  • Experience building datasets for computer vision.
  • Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience training and deploying machine learning models in a commercial environment.
  • Ability to build and use simulation and data analysis tools for evaluating system performance.
  • Experience using PyTorch and TensorFlow using C++ or Python.

General requirements:

  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in software development.
  • Strong technical and system integration affinity – software, sensors, IoT, etc.
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
  • Communication skills and open to feedback.
  • Depending on location: English or German native speaker level.
  • International travels might be required from time to time.

SYSTEMS ENGINEER (London / Basingstoke, UK)
To strengthen our UK based offices, we are seeking a hands-on, motivated and solutions-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Systems Engineer to support the group’s drone / UAV development. We are seeking a hard-working individual with significant systems engineering and integration experience and relevant knowledge about the industry.
 
Tasks

  • Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience working with the mavlink protocol.
  • Computer network engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of System Engineering Process is essential with significant recent experience in a systems engineering role ideally across the full lifecycle.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment both physically and virtually is essential.
  • Experience with system testing and troubleshooting on test benches and on aircraft.

We are seeking a hard-working individual with significant hardware development  experience and relevant knowledge about the industry.
 
Tasks

  • Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with Simulink.
  • Experience using sensor fusion techniques.
  • Ability to build and use simulation and data analysis tools for evaluating system performance.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment both physically and virtually is essential.
  • Strong closed loop control system design skills essential.
  • 2 years’ experience developing in Python/C++.

UAV PILOT / TECHNICIAN / IT SPECIALIST (Klagenfurt, Austria)

To strengthen our team at the Klagenfurt location, we are seeking a full-time drone pilot (m/f/d) (38.5 hours/week) to start immediately.

Tasks
